Originally from the "Paris of the prairies"
(Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) I am
currently working as a freelance illustrator
and graphic designer in Montreal. I received
formal training in Visual Communications
from the Alberta College of Art and Design
(Calgary) and finished with a Bachelor
of Design degree in 2002. Most of my work
is in the children's market but I also do
editorial illustrations for magazines and
album covers. Some recent clients include
Scholastic, Owl Magazine, and Annick Press.
Aside from loving my job, I also enjoy
baking, collecting picture books and
old brooches, and spending time with
